Bilingual Medical Front Desk Receptionist
The Center for Vascular Medicine is seeking a bilingual (English and Spanish) front desk receptionist for our Greenbelt and Silver Spring offices. One year medical office experience is required. The ideal candidate must have the ability to multitask including managing a multiline phone system as well as interacting with patients, physicians and staff members in a positive manner. Experience with an electronic health record system is essential. Preference will be given to candidates with background using the NextGen system. Outstanding customer service skills is essential. Full-time sales professional responsible for effectively applying strategic account selling and management processes through communicating information on vascular disease and “the company” services to an appropriate group of medical and community contacts/ accounts. The goal is to increase patient referrals. The ideal candidate will build customer confidence and receptiveness by applying a total office call approach with the goal of developing rapport & maintaining personal relationships with all employed in private practices, medical groups, hospitals, community centers etc… Duties and Responsibilities:- Conduct effective offices visits to support sales goals.
- Call on targeted accounts with the required reach, frequency and calls/day.
- Coordinate meetings DAILY in appropriate offices for face time with physician and staff contacts. MUST f facilitate introductions between targeted accounts and vascular company Physicians and staff.
- Educate new and existing contacts on services offered, company enhancements and clinical advances.
- Coordinate resolution of customer service issues between referring offices and company centers.
- Organize CME Dinner events and other outside-of-the-office opportunities for interaction with referring physicians and staff.
- Identify and capitalize on opportunities for professional visibility via speaking, exhibiting and sponsorship opportunities with local professional organizations.
- Communicate opportunities, market trends and potential issues to appropriate management/staff in a timely manner and on a regular basis.
- Create, maintain daily and refine sales database for all accounts, contacts and activity within designated territory.
- Run timely reports to accurately track referring office activity and create daily/weekly/monthly goals and strategies for growth.
- Other duties as necessary to achieve goals.
- 1-2 years of sales experience. Knowledge of medical community and practices preferred but not required.
- Bachelors Degree (Marketing, Business or Science degree preferred but not required)
- Must be highly professional in appearance, tone, delivery and level of communication skills.
- Dedicated to follow-through and results.
- Very detail oriented with strong analytical and organizational skills.
- Flexibility as it related to schedule, responsibilities and priorities.
- Demonstrable ability to interact with, support and positively influence referring physicians, office staff, colleagues and supervisors.
- Exceptional listening skills.
