Dr. Draughn graduated from medical school at the University of Mississippi in 1987, he did internship at the University of Kentucky, and was a surgical resident at Louisiana State University from 1988-1993, becoming Chief Resident of General Surgery in 1992. Dr. Draughn practiced General, Vascular and Thoracic Surgery until 2008. Since 2006, has since dedicated his practice to venous disease and helping patients learn about and effectively treat their conditions. He is a leader in the field and has led multiple studies in vein research. He is also published in peer reviewed medical journals; Dr. Draughn is truly a forever student and is focused on finding the best solutions to treat his patients for life. With 28 years of experience as a vein specialist in research and treatment, he is an expert in the field and someone you can trust to give you the treatment you need.
